1934年に開発、1938年に製法特許を取得した最初期の「REVERSE WEAVE（リバースウィーブ）」を復刻した、1stパテントモデル クルーネックスウェットシャツです。 「REVERSE WEAVE」は、アメリカの老舗紳士服店ヒッキーフリーマンでカッターとして働いていた経験を持つ営業マンのサム・フリードランドが顧客から「洗濯による縮み」を指摘され、それを解決するため試行錯誤の末に考案した製法です。本来は縦方向に使われる生地を横方向に使用し、縮みを軽減することに成功しました。この復刻商品では、肩に縫い目のない一枚布で作ったシームレスショルダーや、筒状のスウェットからパターンを起こす当時の製法を忠実に再現。「REVERSE WEAVE」と表記していなかった当時の襟ネームも復刻しています。さらに、左袖にCロゴワッペンが付いていない点も当時の仕様そのままです。
